What do thumb rings mean?

If a woman has a thumb ring on does that mean she is bi-curious? Does it mean anything if a guy has one on? I have always thought it was some kind of code.

I've never heard of such a thing. I even looked it up on the internet just now and I couldn't find anything about it. I think people wear thumb rings because they like them, I don't think it's any kind of code.

Many years ago, it was said that if a man had an earring in his right ear, he was gay. If it was in his left ear, it was straight. That hasn't been true for a long time though - these days men get pierced in whatever ear they want, or both ears, or whatever.

Honestly, if I have a thumb ring on, it usually means I liked the ring, & I couldn't find a size in it for any of my other fingers.

Maybe it has a GLBT meaning -- I have no idea. I hope you'll be able to find an answer.
