I usually write stories in English and there are people enough who want to edit for me. In fact I even have "my own" editor. LOL

Just for fun I wrote a story in my own language, Dutch and lo and behold: there even were some editors listed. As a teacher in the Dutch language I do not really need an editor for grammar or spelling. But I would like a second pair of eyes to spot holes and stuff like that.

Some editors were from years back, but one had put his name up not that long ago. I mailed him on Monday, but there is still no response.
Am I too impatient? I thought I was going to get an answer within 72 hours.

What do I do?

:(

Hi BT,

Sorry if it took me a while to reply....was kinda busy :(

You are right in your assumption that you should get an answer within 72 hours. You could do one of two things...1- write again to that person and ask what is going on or 2- send a PM to Laurel saying that the editor in question is not replying to your mail in a timely manner and complain. She's pretty good at kicking butts when she knows about it.

LadyC,

Thanks. I think I will try some butt kicking of my own first.

:D
