What did you want

to be (when you were little) when you grew up? I wanted to be a police officer. After I grew up, I relized there was not much call for a short, plump female cop.

Singers are a dime a dozen...and my decorating skills really aren't up to par with what's "in" these days. lol

Briefly a farmer. Then since I was five I've wanted to be a palaeontologist. That's what I went to University to become, and I haven't given up on it yet.

I wanted to be a photographer mainly through till high school. That is when my counselor told me that it would be more realistic to be a teacher or something with more foundation to it. Then I just wanted to get out of Oklahoma.

Come to think on it... I still want out.

The irony of it all is that I currently do not own a camera of any kind.

This is what I am going to college for. I hope to be finished by May with a bs is photography.

I wanted to be a geologist and astronaut, studying rocks on other planets. Almost finished my degree, with an emphasis on invertebrate paleo. Switched to nursing, though, when I was not allowed to go to Antarctica for field research because, at the time, I was a single female. That was in the early '70s.

It opened the door to being an acupuncturist
I wouldn't trade this opportunity for healing others for any other career.

You know, I don't even remember what I wanted to be when I grew up. As a kid, I probably would have said a teacher. When I got to the end of high school though and had to pick what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, I thought aobut the classes I had and which I'd liked. I liked bookkeeping. That thought process lead me to be an accounting major in college, which was very different from bookkeeping! LOL
