What did you want to be when you grew up?

I realize some of us will never grow up, but that's not the point.

When you were very, very young, before puberty, what sort of life did you see for yourself? What was your career of choice? The whole "I wanna be a _____ when I grow up" thing. Did it happen?

I wanted, of all things, to be a horse. I thought that would be so cool. Then I decided that I wanted to be a nuclear engineer in the Army. Boy did that so not happen.

I wanted to be a ballerina, but then I realized what ugly feet they had so there went that dream

they definitely shouldn't wear sandals.

My dream was to be a Fairy Princess. ;) Not a fairy but my boyfriend treats me like a princess, so I guess it kind of happened!!! lol

i wanted to be a radio tower. then as an older kid i wanted to be a marine acheologist. but I couldn't spell good enough.
now i'm just an old fart debating whether or not i should ever pay a lady for a handjob.

An Olympic figure skater.

Me too! Well, it was on my list.

Olympic figure skater, pro skateboarder, pediatrician or veterinarian.

I work at McDonalds - but call me in 9 years and I'll fix your dog.

;)

I wanted to be a singer... then I wanted to be an interior decorator... then an actress. lol

OH, and at one point I wanted to be a HS Math teacher.

I've always been kinda wishy-washy. :p

What did I want to be? I don't think I ever had a dream to be anything in particular. At least not that I remember. Too practical, even as a kid. I thought about being a teacher, librarian, psychologist, etc. and rejected all of those for one reason or another. I picked accountant based on liking my bookkeeping class in high school. I really had no clue what an accountant did when I decided to be one.

i wanted to be a zoologist ... i dont think i really knew what they did but i knew it was something to do with animals and it sounded sort of super hero'ish :)

When I was really young.. a fireman. I once told my dad that he couldn't be my daddy anymore because Roy from Emergency! was my new daddy.

Later, I basically wanted to be James Herriot without the penis.

What I knew without a doubt I was NOT going to be... a mother and wife.

I wanted to be an actress, a singer and a teacher. Only one of those dreams was realized, but I wouldn't exactly call it a dream come true.

Cool, definitely!

I remember that I wanted to give a lot of love, no specific vocation or profession. That hasn't exactly happened.

I wanted to be a Playboy Bunny. I was very homely and I had bucked teeth and I used to spend hours posing for the fake camera in my aunt's circa-1967 lingerie. I write for Hustler now, and though my teeth are now straight I'm not getting any younger, so I think it's safe to say this is as close as I'm going to get.

I wanted to be Robin, the Boy Wonder, and get married to Wednesday Addams. I knew since I was just a kid I wouldn't be able to cut it as Batman. Still have a crush on Wednesday, though. We would have had the coolest house, too.

i never wanted to be a vet because of james herriot he stuck his arm up a cow's butt far too many times for my liking :)

I wanted to be a tall, gorgeous, sexy, multi-lingual, multi-talented spy!

I managed most of that dream. ;) And there is still plenty of time to actualize the rest of it!
