What did you dream? Tell it in five sentences or fewer.

I was going to my friend's sons Bar Mitzvah with my parents (one of whom is dead and they gave long been divorced (incidentally) dad could not drive us to the right place. And we failed to bring the cake I said I would make. Worse... The outfit I'd asked mom to bring for me to wear was replaced by another set of clothes, both unsuitable for the occasion and a size too small.
I hate insecure panic dreams where everything is wrong and I am out of control... Ugh.

I've had horrible nightmares the last few nights, but thankfully the memories fade with the light and the comfort of Master's voice and his strong arms around me. He has the most soothing touch. :rose:

I was deliberate in my thoughts before bed, trying to will myself to dream of a certain person. This never works, or nearly never works. Last night, it worked.

There were no clocks in the world, even though people had computers, phones, cameras etc. People kept track of time by singing specific songs. I learned one of the songs when I was hired to be a clown entertainer at a kid's birthday and had to bury a real life vampire into snow as a special number. The vampire had to stay buried for 8 minutes for the trick to work out, so the kids started to sing a time counting song: "three and five make eight he's dead, eight and five make thirteen he's dead".

I wrote down the melody of the song when I woke up. I wonder what song it is or if I've started to compose in my sleep.

I can do this as well! As a matter of fact, as Elle mentions, I have to be quite careful about falling to sleep with the TV on. Anything with the possibility of snakes or spiders is quite off limits! I think of people or situations I like, and drift into dreaming of them from there. The problem usually lies in that I tend to incorporate real life sounds (like an alarm clock) into my dream. Not conducive to waking up!

I was a baby seal. Very confusing. Lucky I didn't get clubbed.

I made a very cute baby seal, btw.

Being taken in some way or another - train missing a stop, photoshoot gone wrong - and being unable to get back home for years. Then getting home and finding that everyone has moved on without me; no concern, no care that I was alright, no noticing my disappearance. Not a pleasant dream in the slightest.

I saw the Monopoly man go into a house that was on fire and I knew that if he takes off his coat and hat in there, some kind of murderous spirit will come alive and it'll kill him. I went in after him and he had just taken off all of his clothes when I found him, so to save him I made him climb out a window and down a ladder, but he slipped. I went out quickly to help him, but it looked bad. I stood outside and started to scream in panic, when I realized I'd killed the Monopoly man.

At this point J woke me up, because I mumbled in my sleep so much.

I was going through alcohol withdrawal and having very vivid dreams; felt real. My blanket took the shape of death, cowl, empty hood, sleeves with no arms and I kept trying to smash down the blanket like that arcade game where the thing pops up and smash it. And I'd smash and it would glide over and glide over again the entire time I'm hearing whispers that were just horrible to hear. Truths I didn't want to know. The only good thing about alcohol withdrawal are the lucid dreams.

I baked kiwi cookies (they looked like slices of kiwi fruit) all night long.

I haven't had a dream in a long time now (idk how many weeks or months). last one i had was scary. :S

I bought my friend's dad a porcupine shirt (a grey t-shirt covered in quills) and he started wearing it and walking up and down the street. When a car went by, the quills would flap around and so would his hair. The end.

Yummy! I have made kiwi and banana cookies before but they were the heavy drop cookie kind - pretty healthy though as cookies come!

I dreamt that I was a trainee teacher at a school but the the teachers that I was supposed to be assisting didn't really have their shit together. I came back from the bathroom to find no one in the classroom and the teacher next door said they'd all gone outside. I started going down the stairs normally but after a flight my legs wouldn't work properly. I couldn't get my legs to hold my weight and ended up going down the stairs in splits, desperately hoping no one would see me.

Then the dream cut to me being outside the school at the end of the day, but I was naked. I walked home that way and no one seemed to notice (I was really trying to play it cool!) When I got home my eyelids felt so unbeleivebly heavy that I couldn't keep them open. This scared me and I remember pawing my way in the darkness to the mirror where I pulled my eyelids open but still couldn't see...

You have no idea how relieved I was waking up from that dream!

I had molten glass dreams. Pulling out long canes of colors that shifted as they cooled, and finding patterns that danced along the hottest parts. I haven't had glass dreams in ages.
