During the cold war 1947-1991 where being a communist in America was strictly forbidden, what did the US government do with people who were confirmed to be communists?

Did they put them in jail?

When I was in high school, the head of the special education department of my school was a marxist and a lesbian.

The school psychologist was also a marxist as well.

I didn't much like her, and if it was back in the day, I would have reported her to HUAC (the house for unamerican activities committee).

Marxists are not necessarily communists. Nor are communists necessarily Marxists.

Studying Marx is a requirement of many Social Science and Management courses.

Russian Communism would have appalled Karl Marx.

I studied both Marxian Economic Theory and Chinese Economics towards a B.A. in Economics many moons ago. They were electives at the time, but I'm sure it's in my "file" somewhere.

I had to study Marxist theory as part of an MBA. When I referred to Henri Fayol and Frederick W Taylor the lecturers had no idea who or what I was talking about. I considered that their influence on management theories was more significant than Marx...

Did you end up getting an MBA?

If so, you should be bright enough to spot when you are having your chain yanked lol

They were taken to a game preserve to hunted by the Illuminati ruling elite. Or sold to the lizard people as slaves.

Marx was a very good economic historian and a very bad political theorist. He was also the most boring writer who ever drew breath.

I spent a year at a German University and for one course we had to read the whole of 'Kapital' - in German. It taught me little except what it's like to feel suicidal.
