What Comic RP do you want to play?

I love comic based Rp's, and i love comic based SRP's.

Basically here is where we post ideas of what comic based RP's we want to play and chat about them ect.

I currently know of Exiles, Weapon X, Team Titans, Avengers, Justice League threads. i will post links and stuff for them soon for them soon.

hmm, tough call. are you going with mainstream, or are webcomics included? because i have quite a few of those i'd like to try turning into an RP. other than that, maybe Static Shock (DCAU), Alien (Dark Horse) or something like that. Jeff was talking about a smallville rp, but i doubt that would go well (yes, they have a comic as well for it....i've seen an animated comic on the official site for the appearance of Impulse, who eventually becomes Kid Flash classically)

other than that, not sure. quite a few manga could be tapped for that purpose, really.

i had an idea about a future JL RP about when heroes like Static/Gear?Arsenal/Changeling/Nightwing/Raven are the new heroes, and other like Bats have retired or died. If we did it though, i would want Jeff or D-R to run it lol, i'm running far too many, though i admit none of them seem to be moving far.

i was thinking that myself. i'd be willing to play Static...dunno if i could pull off Gear....but i've been complemented on my Static by a few people who've actually read the comics or seen the show

Cool, i have been toying with the idea of a Middle aged
Owen Mercer (C-Boomerang), who is married to Miss Martian or Supergirl.

Though that would mean getting someone to play MM or SG.


I'm also being toying with the idea of Elseworlds type RP as well.

But also like i say, i would want someone else to either run the thread, or Co-Run it with me.

i alos had the idea about doing a different version of the F4. either where they gained different powers to what they currently have. or the people who went up changed instead to a different team, so instead of it being Reed, sue, ben and johnny, it was reed, sue, henry pym and wasp.

and i really want to do a thread, about a group of friends//family with superpowers who have no secret identities, and are your average everyday superhero, but i don't want to run it....

is ne one else interested in running it??

good show that. and that's the only way i remember the F4 being portrayed. i didn't like the whole secret identity thing brought about by the movie. EVERYONE knew who the F4 was in the old shows i used to watch. It was common knowledge even INSIDE the Marvel verse. and it makes sense too...i mean, seriously, how is Ben Grimm going to hide his identity.....

precislely... like i say, i would love some to start a thread like that, not neccessarily having to BE the fantastic four, but more like a family/friends who get caught up in a incident and all get special powers, but have theire identities public.

hmm...i probably could....but it's rare that people join any of the superhero threads i start anymore...and yet when i make a furry thread, i get dozens of interested parties...hmmm....

see, i started a superhero thread based on a video i saw for a remake of a Genesis song. not a single female interested in it

true but its too big a group for what i want i think.

well, Titans is really supposed to be a small group whose membership keeps changing. though at some point, there are a large number of them, they are meant to be reserves, or local defenders

cool. good point, i have to admit, i did think suggesting at one point that the group splits in to 2 teams (i.e. titans west/east) but we still have the main goals, and are linked to the main thread.

Kid Flash (though i think he has left)

and so we could split into 2 teams, which would also give chance for cyborg to join a team/thread, and also could mean that both starfire and terra could be played, but in the different teams.threads.

actaully i may suggest this in the OOC.

eventually, maybe....i do plan on taking up Bart's enemy, Inertia....but without the whole future thing....because that's kind of weird (not to mention one of the sole living paradoxes i've seen in a comic book)
