Cyan is a blue. Eggshell is an off-white. Just pick the option that seems more accurate.

I read the whole article. The photo from the dress website is indeed black and blue. But the original photo is white and gold still - I don't see how looking at another photo would change that, but I may well be missing something.

Eggshell refers to the color of a chicken egg, which ranges from white to tan.

Chickens do not produce blue eggs.

Edit: They created a retrovirus that turned a chicken egg blue.

That's clearly blue to my eyes. Actually, it's more of a periwinkle. That's right. I just said periwinkle.

However, I don't see black. It's a brown colour to me.
