What Book Are You Currently Reading?

Credence by Penelope Douglas

It's not what I thought it would be - I wasn't expecting spice - but, I'm having a hard time putting it down.

Yesterday, I read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Even though I'd already seen the movie, I loved the style and humor of the book. It was hard to put down, so I kept reading.

Tonight I'll start The Queen by Nick Cutter.

I was going to join a book club where I now live but decided against it as I read at my own pace and pleasure; not to be judged by 5 judgy cunts. 📖
My husband and I read a lot (well, he does and I go in mad spurts of 10 books in 10 days then nothing for two months). Every now and again, we have our own little 'book club' where we'll read the same book at the same time (deliberately), and then get to talk about it as we go. I don't think a traditional book club group would suit me, either.

Current book (solo): How to solve your own Murder by Kristen Perrin.

With husband, we're going to start reading Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, as soon as the library copy is available (we buy one copy and borrow one copy).
