It may sound strange, but, Tom Clancy. The thing that makes him scary is he writes about REAL things.

Michael Crichton

I love his books but the way he writes and his subject matter is SCARILY realistic

I don't read scary books.
I don't watch scary movies.

I have enough trouble with my imagination; why import nightmares? Or, crazily enough, pay for nightmares in the form of books and/or movies?

No thank you!

Okay DCL, you can come out of hiding.

If your little lit god denies it, you can believe him. This was just my revenge for his allowing others to call him a god.

Anything written by the amazingly talented author... Clive Barker is a scary read...

John Saul

But I think he unnerves me more than scares me. Any of his books that I have read have involved children dying. That is a difficult scenario for me to call a good read.

Dean Koontz has scared me from time to time as well.

A guy saw the film version of Jurassic Park, and he got ideas. To me, it seems he forgot to see the 2nd half of the movie, when they all die.

DCL

since child pornography is the one thing which can shut down this site.

It's like being trapped in a locked car and all the radio stations play the same N'Sync song over and over.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The fact that they were even nominated for an award much less won one is proof enough that the Grammys mean diddly-squat and represent bupkiss.

Maybe A_J could win an grammy with his double platinum smash hit "DCL's a pedophile...baby".

He certainly sings it enough.

Oh, and didn't Eminem win a grammy?

If Michael Jackson can do the same material for 15 years, I suppose AJ can too. And they're both about as pansy everytime they sing "I'm bad! I'm bad! You know it! Hoo!"
