What piques your interest and keeps you going back?

Are you there just for the pics, or the personality of the poster as well?

Does personality outweigh the pics or vice versa or is it 50/50?

Do you ever take one look and never go back because you don't like the pics and are not interested in taking to the poster because the pics have put you off?

Have you ever lost interest in a thread because there weren't enough pics?

For me, I find confidence (not arrogance) very attractive, that might have something to do with the fact that I like to be dominated.
Humour is also a big thing for me.
Posting cock pics straight away is a bit of a turn off for me.

Other things will probably pop in to my head but that's all I can think of for the moment.

Something real

I'm a world of photoshop and digital fakery it is refreshing to see a real person. Young, old, thin, thick it really doesn't matter as much as being real. THAT is what I find the sexiest thing about the AMPIC thread.

One other thing. There is a vulnerability of the "average person" laying it all out there for all of Litland to see. There is a courage there that I admire.

I posted three pics in here. (Happy hunting ) It was very exciting to hit that send button knowing it was "out there" and it was never coming back. It generated next to no reaction though. I thought I'd get a few PMs...nada!

I find the natural look just as attractive as the makeup look, actually the natural look can be a lot more attractive, because you get to see the real person then.

Men's threads very often get little interest. I wouldn't take it personally.

What attracts you to an amateur pic thread? Usually it's from seeing a person's post on another thread. Whether it is their avi or words that catch my attention. If I see they had a thread, I'll check it out.

What piques your interest and keeps you going back? A persons creativity in their pics definitely draws my attention. That being said, I just enjoy seeing more of people.

Are you there just for the pics, or the personality of the poster as well? Usually a bit of both. I don't often visit a thread just for the pics, I try to at least connect with the poster. That makes things all the more hot.

I'm probably not your target demographic, so to speak, as I am not a regular in the AmPics forum. However, I'm glad to answer your questions based on my experience.

I think that generosity is the best answer to your first few questions. It's pretty easy to spot threads that are really more about teasing out compliments than they are about sharing oneself through pictures. I don't mind at all when a woman chooses to not show her face - after all, most of us here maintain a certain amount of anonymity and pictures leave one very vulnerable - but that's just a realistic and probably honest response to a desire for some degree of anonymity blended with a desire to be on exhibition.

If there's a second characteristic that causes me to click back out of a pic thread quickly, it's when the thread starter shows none of her personality in non-picture posts. I do enjoy humor, so any decent (or indecent) attempt at humor gets some of my votes. I much prefer people who can laugh at themselves.

ETA: I should add that while I appreciate beauty, youth and good looks are not an expectation for me.
