There have probably been a few threads like this before but it would still be interesting to see what catches your fancy.

My interests pretty much revolve around incest. Not just father-daughter, but mother-son, brother-sister, uncle-niece, and aunt-nephew. Other than that, I'm pretty vanilla.

Oh, I do have one non-incest fantasy: It involves complete role-reversal between men and women but with men also growing breasts. For example, men shave their legs and wear short skirts and women try to get men's cocks hard and fuck them.

Role play shouldnt just be about characters acting out their sexual desires. Role play should be written and done in such a way as the person or people involved do it from a real point of view. As in, how you would really act if placed in a particular situation.

Sexually, a non-consent RP would require someone to be scared at first, of course if the person really has the fantasy, then it would end nicely.

Preferrably, in the SRP, non consent, exhibitionism, voyuerism, three somes, and one on one rp is great.

I have to second Southern's comment. The writing is important, how it's done and what level of detail *not just physical ones* that is taken into account.

I did not mean sheerly physical sensation. I meant descriptions of the environment and smells in the air. I love having all the details present so I can actually play the scene out mentally and see what I personally would feel like doing next.

My interest is story line...I like a well thought out and planned story, but at the same time I like surprises and stuff like that as well...Since my grammer and other stuff isn't all that i'm not pressed about that as much as I am the story..

No matter what it is, wether it involves sex or not....

I like stories about were's, vamps, romantic, actions, romantic action/adventure type stories....

I actually agree with SuthernComfort. Even in my incest fantasies, I prefer making it as "real" as possible. Usually this means at least one partner is a little reluctant, and maybe there's a little guilt and angst after the first time, but they both can't resist and keep on doing it.

Its a lot easier for some of us to write from experience or write from the reality based point of view. I also agree with Eternal. Im not an expert especially on grammer and punctuation. I tend to react post. Reacting to what others are doing around me.

I totally agree. Incestuous threads have to be played just right or they seem silly and misguided. I dont care much for the hermaphrodites or anything like that. My imagination is twisted but not that much.

Again, I agree with eternal, anything if it is well written is worth reading.

Lots of things strike my fancy, Lady M.

Ideas come from bits of conversation, things I hear on the radio, read in the newspaper, magazines or books, photographs and paintings, mixed drink names, song titles or lyrics. The genre comes with the idea that was grabbed and the story (and characters) come from a bit of brainstorming. Usually I have an idea of where I'd like a story to go, which also makes it easier to reach an ending (which I like).

Frankly though, I don't usually know what I'm going to write until I actually sit down and begin to type - which sometimes sends the story careening off in a direction that was totally unexpected. I like wrenches and twists.

I probably didn't answer your question, but for me it's not the genre as much as the story that is sparked by ideas that appeal most.

I'm partial to nonconsensual scenes, monster-on-maiden, and impregnation. One kink I've always wanted to explore in writing is white males dominating black females.

Like some others here, I do demand plot with my sex. I like a story that is engaging, with sub-plots and opportunities for my characters to make a difference in the world they adventure within. I like characters to be multidimensional, to have foibles and quirks. I like scenes to be described in detail, with proper pacing. I want storylines to be believable and logical.

In short, I demand no less from erotic fiction than I do from science fiction, adventure, or heroic fantasy.

Two stories I'd like to launch:

1) A party of European colonists and soldiers settles a land populated by Africans. At first, they have the run of the place, plundering with some raping and pillaging. But the land contains a secret so astonishing it defies description...and after it is revealed, the colonists are struggling to survive...

2) A town in a dark fantasy world...the power of Men in this part of the world is waning, even as the power of Orcs grows. Slowly but surely, orc warriors are helping themselves to the women of the town...becoming more brazen with every passing full moon. As girls come of age, they must decide whether to fight...or give in and at least be able to live a mostly normal life. Except for the horrible births...

I can play male or female characters.

Historical is a little more difficult then most. There are a few subjects that I really do not like and that's where "Drugs" plays an important part of the plot or story line. I also dislike the more bizarre and so I tend to stay away from those. I like good plots, character building and lots of twists and turns. I like to turn around the "Myths" so to speak and do something different. In a thread I'm doing is post US Civil War and the story is about a younger white man falling in love with an older black woman.

Historical for me is terribly hard. My only true love of history falls with WW2 era and really nothing much else. I can't say that i wouldn't throw out an idea involving a young soldier (male or female) going off to war, blah blah blah, but just don't know how much i can handle trying to re-create the damn thing lol...

I'm kinda.....well, very....picky on my roleplays. But that's mostly based on lack of interest. But my favorite kind of SRPing is the male getting dominated by the female.

Of course, I've yet to be in any SRP as of yet ._.
