I don't think this has been asked before, at least not specifically, so, what are your fave odors?

My faves are outdoors odors, such as when, on a hot summer day I ride down a corridor of trees and breath the cool fresh oxygen coming off the pine and fir trees, mixed with the odors of the the trees and other plants.

Coming home to a good pot roast simmering in the crock pot.

Waking up in the morning to someone cooking breakfast, bacon, eggs and coffee (no I don't drink it, but I like it's smell).

So what are your faves?

The smell of one of my lunches.

Grilled bacon + cheese, relish and freshly brewed coffee.

I guess you could say that I'm an outdoor type girl. I just love the smell of the bush especially after rain.

Favorite smells....

Cologne (Stetson and Lagerfeld)
Freshly-mown Hay (grew up on a farm! :) )
Line-dried sheets on the bed

Outdoors is good, but you just can't beat baking bread or a nice, thick, juicy steak on the grill....

Of course my vote might change after lunch.

Scents

I picked the outdoors....I grew up in rural Missouri I love the smell of freshly cut grass....and vanilla...oh and roses...

I like all of the poll options plus the smell a motorcycle gives off after you've thrashed the bollocks off of it  :D

citrus peel
cloves
library paste
clean sweat
mown grass
conifers
the detergent aisle in the grocery store
freshly shampoo'd hair
eucalyptus
clothes drying in the machine

Grilled bacon
A wood fire
Tarmacadam

And to lower the tone completely - Bindii said she love the smell of the bush..... oh yes!

What, you mean she meant bush, as in shrubbery? Oops:D

A real Christmas Pine tree in a lounge when it has been there for about a week.......

I chose other.

I miss the smell of a baby that you cuddle. The baby powder, milky, sleepy baby smell. All of my kids are getting older and their smells arent that great. ;)

I also love the smell of books. Stupid maybe but there is something about it as you are digging through a pile on the chance you might find that book you have been searching for.

would you believe...

cinnabon gives me a hard on.

I don't know why....:)

but as far as pleasant smells go...really like cedar and pine

Favourite smells

Bacon grilling

freshly mown grass

lemon soap

olbus oil

coffee, particularly when you open a new packet for the first time

leather

wood fire burning

Smell is such an amazing sense. How many people have had images literally thrust into their minds eye by a familiar smell?

You can't beat the smell of your own child - especially when you haven't seen them for a few days
