Currently I am working on Chapter 5 of my "Tits Have Benefits" series. As I said in another post I had to resubmit Chapter 4, so you won't find chapter 4 in the series yet.

Writing this chapter is difficult because there are a lot of emotions I have to work my way through for the main character. Dealing in a real way with character emotions I find the most difficult thing in writing stories but very rewarding in terms of the realism it gives to the writing.

Polishing off a mainstream novel (regional murder mystery) due at the publishers before the 1st of May.

Trying to work on my next hockey story. Finding time to do it seems harder and harder. Perhaps it'll be easier after the playoffs.

Lowborn Ch. 07, Sisters of the Mists Ch. 18, and a couple in my third pen name on the side.

A 1,100 word paper on how the lack of sleep affects mood, behavior, cognitive and motor skills.

500 words describing the stages of sleep.

700 word summary of a personality assessment.

A complete outline for a final paper.

Due Thursday.

Probably not the kind of writing you meant, eh?

Ch 7 of "Something New" and paying particular attention to avoiding passive voice. :)

I'm past due on chapters for a contracted commercial non-fiction title. I want the next advance payment, so I need to buckle down.

"An Exchange of Values" will be a Nude Day contest entry. (I need an editor) It's one of my favorites so far and highly autobiographical.

"The Short Skirt" is a psychological sexy thriller. I stopped writing because one of the characters is too predatory/manipulative. It was hurting my psyche to get inside his head. Ick! I like nice people and write pseudo-monsters. However, to paraphrase one of my idols, it's diiiiiirty!

I took down two stories because I didn't like them any more. I may rewrite them.

I have been slowly mulling an experiment: "Reverse Retrograde Relationship" It starts with the dénouement and tells the story backwards through time.

I have "See Through Sister" about an exhibitionist who becomes "invisible." It's a tragedy - at least at first.

Oh, and just to piss off our pet contest troll, mulling over a potential new Wood story for the Summer Contest *laugh*

Chapter five of an ongoing series.

A Halloween story based on coming home from work one day and finding my four lesbian roommates watching kinky gay vampire porn (I'm not joking, they really were... it was a weird summer).

And that pesky dissertation. I have two years until they kick me out. I'm on the clock!

In the fiction arena, a short story collection. In the non-fiction arena ... well, you really don't want to know. But it helps pay for the groceries.

Pulling together the epilogue to my Amy, Captured series. Paying careful attention not to leave any plot threads dangling and keeping the characters sounding like themselves. I've always had trouble writing endings, especially this time where I've had to split it up into two separate submissions since one part doesn't have a terribly large part for Amy herself, which strikes me as a problem given the nature of the story...

The second book in a series of five. The first is in my editors hands and I'm fifteen chapters into the second book. Each will be approx. 60-70k words.

None will be published here.

Now that I'm retired I have the time to write sophisticated horror. So my present project is a tale about all the bad people awaking one morning to a different world where the predators are now the prey and karma stalks you.

I'm nearly finished on my next Lit story, a more realistic story that I'm calling simply, The Affair

Working on my third Literotica submission, I do this just to unwind after work myself, got a second submission pending and just trying to get thoughts out of my head, driving me crazy. Figured I did the first submission from a more intimate point of veiw, the submission I got pending is more "primal" with a hint of voyuerism.

The next piece I'm doing I want to be more adventerous however.

A dystopian fantasy novel and a little novella which I may well post in Loving Wives. I sadly don't have a lot of time for writing at the moment though.

I'm currently working on an erotic vampire novella, the first in a series. Also a steampunk cowgirl novel roughly 30 percent complete, several short erotic stories for a new collection, and what feels like a thousand synopses (I hate writing synopses so always leave them to the last second).

I'm working on the second chapter of a novel about a group of friends sharing a house in the Outer Banks who end up sharing spouses. Also working on wrapping up my "It Started With..." series.

I am currently working on three stories; a science fiction adventure, a detective mystery and a Lesbian Sex tale for submittal here.

I am currently working on a new anthology series of stories that will be related by theme, rather than by continuity of character or storyline. They will have similar titles, but will not be indicated by chapter numbers so that they will be accessible in any order. The first story is with my editor, and the second is on my screen. I am also working on a story that I started for the Holiday contest but did not finish in time. With any luck, it will be ready for the 2011 Holiday contest.
