Got in a couple of movies today:
First viewing on The Northman, a beautifully filmed old Norse revenge saga. Very bloody in parts, with beheadings and intestines spilling out on the floor, but even though the story certainly holds your attention, it does progress somewhat slowly once we enter the second act. It does have a nice plot twist in the third act.
Next, a second viewing of Angel has Fallen, with Gerard Butler reprising his role as the 'President-saving' Secret Service agent. A great ride, with plenty of action and some very appropriate humor. Gonna have to hunt down that one where Butler saves the day in London.
