Today has been designated 'haircut day'.
I've never done it before, I've watched a few 'how to' videos, but I'm rather nervous...

As for the more intimate of the grooming side of things. Well, creativity is a useful coping mechanism, isn't it? And as for SB and her barbering dilemma. Well, hair clippers make it an easier experience but scissors will work for a touch-up trim. Just remember to not get in a hurry and stop periodically to study the results. You can do this and if there's a less than stellar result it will have grown back out by the time the quarantine ends.

I think I’ll just stick to a ponytail or baseball hat.
Indeed! My hair is already past my nips. Another month or two isn't going to matter much, outside of some split ends.

Fortunately, I quit coloring and highlighting a year or so ago. The red/ auburn/ copper was a lot of work.
But...My sister and 4 or 5 of my Facebook friends are hair stylists..omg the memes about staying away from box dye and trimming your own bangs!

Today will be Day 6 of delivering donations to homes that cannot go out to provide for themselves.
I’ve stayed healthy so far...the rules to volunteer are quite stringent.
The upside....seeing the people come to their windows and smile in appreciation.
The downside...when nobody comes at all.
Some are in very poor shape. The sweat and the fear are visible. Others, not visibly affected at all.
The hardest part....even though they are in some cases fighting for their lives, they still apologize for causing trouble in having us do this.
My heart breaks....and heals at the same time. Compassion....shame....fear...love.
Children...adults...elderly. They have all been in that window at different times.
Please....we do it because we care. Just get better.

I'm in the high risk category so I pretty much have to stay home. Although I am now going for walks but no contact with anyone but my hubby & GF here at home.

I've never talked to you because your posts of total disrespect for women, make me want to vomit. So it is really hard for me to see a post like this, and not want to say "thank you". So for just a minute, I'll look passed your normal posts, and say thank you. But I do hope that all of this opens your eyes a little, and makes you realize that if you can find compassion for others, you can also eventually see women as more than your play toy.
