What Are You Thinking? Continued 4

Not that my opinion matters much, but I enjoyed Joker. I love every (yes even Leto’s) different interpretation of the Joker played by each actor. This film very closely follows one of Jokers comic book storylines but even then we still can’t be sure if that’s his true origin.

“If I’m going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice.” -Joker, The Killing Joke

This was just another version of Joker for us to enjoy.

When he quotes comic books... <swoon>

I haven't seen it. I'm conflicted. It looks good and Joaquin Phoenix is a great actor. But I've grown up with a different version of the character, my favorite being Heath Ledger as a more serious version and Jack Nicholson as the version more like the TV series. I'm not sure how I feel and you've seem to have had a similar experience watching it.

This reply is late.... BUT....

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, that movie was absolutely amazing. I don't even really like comic books... or even movies in general, but that movie was God Tier Amazing.

The way Joker portrays mental health is SO good. I can't even talk about it without spoiling the movie, but it's phenomenal.

But I'm not a movie person. The only movies I've watched in the past few years are the John Wick movies. They're good, too.

Thinking about a coworker whose husband, in the early days of social media, met a woman online and temporarily ran off to another state to make things real. My coworker, I can only guess, wanted some measure of both revenge and reassurance, and she wound up coming to me. That turned into a little bit of a mess. But it was fun while it lasted, and eventually our kids played together.

I love the John Wick Movies too.

That's high praise from a non movie watcher.

Sold!

Thinking that I was so over piercings and tattoos. Then I exchanged smiles with a friendly woman who had both, and she cured me of my bigotry.

I have a tendancy to start still-born threads. I'll leave the thread making to PLP or Honey

Beats me. I start threads that die young. Then someone else starts a thread just like mine and it takes off! I mean I know I am pretty hated on here but that shit is just funny.

If that's real, its probably the sweetest thing ever. If it's fake, that's some manipulative bullshit. We shall see.
