What Are You Thinking? Continued 4

There is no better karate practice than walking through a spider web at 5 in the morning.

To catch a thief you have to think like a thief.

I wonder if anyone else has figured it out.

I have a thief in my life right now. I’ve already caught her. I know what she’s thinking. Watching her try to play me is like hearing a four-year-old lie about who broke a vase. She still thinks she’s getting away with something, and I’ll keep letting her think it for a little while longer, because it’s entertaining.

I’m feeling negative emotions because I have to go to work :( They’re really putting a lot of pressure on me at the moment, and for some reason they decided not to advertise my colleague’s vacant position until AFTER she had left, so as of today I get to enjoy the full workload myself. All the work, all the late shifts, and I don’t even get paid for the role that I do.

I’m tempted to go in dressed like this:

I wish I knew why it felt like I drive people away;

I wish that I knew why I keep wanting to look where I know I should not.

(Probably my cheery dispotion; most likely because I am a sucker)

people are like drops of water,
in a rainstorm of acquaintances,
some roll off once they hit you...
others seep in and become part of you.

Yet they all leave a mark.

omg, did I just say that?

this IS good coffee!

edited to add...every drop is out of your control.
probably doesn't make things better, but still, that's physics.

Outside your ability to control, perhaps, but not necessarily outside your ability to predict, which inherently implies an element of control. Now, are we talking Newtonian determinism or Copenhagen interpretation quantum probability?

This IS good pot.

:D

The sky is sparkling blue...vivid in innocence.
The sun...laboriously inching towards its maximum glory...still quite unable, in its ascent, to warm up the morning.
The leaves have turned...a multitude of colours paling all rainbows.
The water is calm. Meditative this morning...seemingly contemplating everything it has seen in its journey.
The mountains...Staunch! As they always are...

This is what I think...and all I have to do is wake up, each morn to appreciate it.

Thinking I love the fact that my 23-year-old son has the perspective to refer humorously to the distant future as a time when we will both be soil.

My son and I have a great relationship... I referred to him as my "halfling homo" the other day, and he laughed and said,
"Mom, it's called 'bisexual'"..

I said, "I know. But 'halfling homo' has such a cooler D&D
vibe, I think I'll stick with that. "

Quantum theory...it's all relative.
Moreover, Newtonian laws are largely applicable based on the uncertainty of prediction as in relation to those particles around us.
therefore, within the scope of the subconscious overriding the ego, thank you mein "Freud"...when we split that atom, bad mojo gonna come out.

thank you.
ID speaks for itself today.

pass the bowl baby.
