What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

I'm going to kill these kids. All fucking night Ive been trying to sleep. If it's not slamming doors and shouting, it's loud music and thumping walls. Or assholes spinning donuts in the road outside my window.

Call the cops!!!! Easy fix.

So today I was at the checkout and there's this little kid on the checkout next to mine. He's like 4 or 5, he's scanning items, his mum is behind him helping him and with each time she's like "good boy! well done!"

I just think, I've been going to that store for *years* and I'm really good at the machine, but have *never* been congratulated. I deserve more credit.

I just watched the movie “Her” and it reminded me a lot of this place.

You start out thinking this is all on line, how can I have a “relationship” with someone who exists in the computer (granted they are real people).

But then there’s a connection…a real and true connection and there are moments that you tell yourself it’s not real and back off, but then realize, why can’t it be real?

Then one day you make the mistake of wondering about what they are doing when they aren’t talking to you. Maybe even ask, or someone tells you that they are talking to 11,000 other people. And you’re heartbroken, but then realize again that this is a virtual place and try to move past it. But then they ghost…

It was a weird way to experience the movie for sure
