I have this theory that cover letters help more than they hurt. I’ve never seen a bad resume that was out over the edge by a cover letter. But I’ve had plenty of borderline good resumes where they said something weird that made me roll my eyes in the CL.

It’s all about getting past the AI screeners anway.
