The wind almost sounds like ocean waves. The eb and flow of it, the long rolling sound before it breaks against the house then ebbs... The animals are being quite active, probably due to the warmer than average temps. There's an owl in a tree towards the front of the house, coyotes are calling along the creek bottoms, and I believe there's a 'coon under the back porch. It's an odd, but lovely, night.
