Just find out what kind of wines @MidwestPrincess23 is bringing so we can decide the appropriate pairings. We wouldn't want to be so gauche as to pair a white with Beef ramen.
It's usually a red blend or Malbec. I could throw a white in to pair with the chicken ramen... but I usually throw the rules away and only drink red

well... unless it's champagne
 
Dammit, now my stomach is growling like Chewbacca. And these chicken breasts are probably going to take all fucking day to thaw out.
 
I still haven't decided on dinner... but clearly I'm not making chicken because it would DEFINITELY not be thawed out in time at this point!
(looks around kitchen to see what I can make for a late lunch. hmm. Uncle Ben's wild rice, half a jar of nacho cheese, and ketchup. might have to wait until the fucking chicken thaws.)
 
just put the frozen chicken in a ziplock bag and put the bag in a bowl of cold water in the sink. it will thaw in like 30 mins.

but I don't want to make chicken... I shall use "it's not thawed" as my excuse. Nobody at my house knows the tricks except me. There is a reason for that you see, so they can't use the tricks against me!
