What are you seeking in the Personals?

Technically this could probably go on the general board, but I think it will get more hits here because this is specifically the audience I want to target with this poll.

This seems to be a useful kind of thing too so people can gauge just how promising this area of Lit. is and whether or not there are anything resembling success stories.

Please answer which category you think you fit into. (male/female refers to your own gender) And if you placed a personal, the poll assumes you're also actively looking for other ads/matches. Hope this helps everyone out there.

Well i personallyjust like having a look-see at who wants what*L*

I tend to welcome "virgins" but only contact people who are interestred on keeping things online.

I posted a personal a few days back and was stunned by the replies! I was merely looking for a cyber lover, and i wasn't very specific so therefore lots of guys answered my ad,many more in PM than on the thread!

I haven't placed an ad yet. I have been thinking about it. I have, however, placed ads on other sites. It has been interesting but nothing of any substance has emerged. The optimist in me won't give up....but the longer I am looking the choosier I am getting.

i'm looking for...

people to wake up and title their threads better. I am amazed by the # of people placing personals that are ultimately looking to meet people with NO sense of geography, or personal hints in the title....

go figure.

I find it interesting to see what people are looking for. If I see a particularly interesting ad I will answer it but that is rare.
