Of course. There are smart, intelligent people in all the forums.

Argue for your limitations...and so they shall be yours. If one expects to find nothing...why should anyone be surprised they found nothing? One finds what one seeks. One sees what one thinks they know.

I used to make fun of the Playground people. I mean...who participates in fluff threads? Drop a letter...add another? What color is your mood? But I was wrong. There are very smart people here too. I couldn't see that until i dropped my bias. Not every thread is for every person. Not every forum is for every person.
 
Today I am nosey about hangovers. Anyone have really bad ones? Are they an indication of an awesome night or a reminder that we're not as young as we used to be?

I've never been a big drinker to begin with. The only times I got really bad ones was from mixing my alcohols. A night of Goldschlager and Tequila was the worst. I'll never touch Tequila again. Actually.. not even the Goldschlager since then.

I haven't had any at all since finding out I have Liver problems earlier this year.

Wine is usually my go-to.
 
tbh I drink very seldom.
So I never dealt with a hangover.
There was one night I drank a little bit more than usual.
But by the time I got home, I was just tired.

I think it's because I consciously never want to lose control.
I had anger issues a looong time ago and the thought of me losing it scares me to an extent.

Avatar. I'm okay if they post them in their profile. Then I have to click on them to see it. But Avatar just grosses me out. I want the option to look. Not have it shoved in my face.
Plus. I'm a fucking perv who checks Lit a lot in public and when I'm trying to read messages and scroll. Damn it, if a damn dick doesn't pop up right when some old lady is next to me!! :mad:

I haven't had a hangover in years. I don't drink so I'll get drunk enough anymore. If I'm at a dinner I'll drink more but still not to the point that I get hangover. I've notice though that when I've gotten older I've been more sensitive to late nights even when I'm sober and drive home. It feels like a light hangover the day after.

The worse hangover I remember was after a midsummer party. I was early thirty ears old and I rolled out of bed i the evening and everything was a struggle to do. No apatite and the whole body felt like it weighed twice as much as the night before. Akvavit shots and beer is dangerous! :rolleyes: :D
