And having joined Lit, who have you met? Have you been surprised, charmed, shocked, educated, changed? Have you formed long-lasting relationships? Virtual marriages? People that are now part of your non-virtual life?

My initial reason to join Lit last summer was to try writing erotica, perhaps collaborative story writing. I ended up meeting someone here very early on who has become a very important part of my life, which is something I had not imagined would happen to me. It has been (to sound like a bad reality TV show) an amazing and wonderful journey that has brightened my world.

(And I've also met a number of other very interesting men with whom my Lit lover kindly allows me to interact).

I guess I'll take the plunge first (gulp!).

I'm a very happily married man in all respects but one. For that I come here (no pun intended).

I first joined for the stories. And didn't even enter the forums for ages and ages. Then someone absolutely beautiful, sexy and stunning as a person and who used to post her photos elsewhere, moved here and so I followed her thread. After a while, curiosity got the better of me and I started looking around more and more, eventually even posting a message here or there.

So clearly I didn't join to meet anyone or to hook up with anyone in real life - and I never will - however I have virtually 'met' some really nice people, and made friends - some with benefits and some without, some with whom I have gone on to chat with on YM.

I have learned from some, I have been turned on by some and surprised, charmed, shocked, educated and probably changed by all of them.

I like to think of it as exploring; I don't know where I'm going or what !'ll find there - but I just hope to enjoy the journey.

I first wandered to lit to read the stories, then to write, then I found the PG and have met people that are fantastic.
My reason for staying is these people, some I have met, some not, but I do enjoy meeting people and I tend to be a talkative old guy.

I joined to read the erotica, I think. Erotica has always been more arousing for me than pictures and porn (there are exceptions, but for the most part it's too staged). Along the way, I realised that there were other people on here that thought about sex the same way I did, and I've enjoyed getting to know a few.

I've had some interesting on-line exchanges, even a couple that lasted for months. It's a nice release, and there are many, many intelligent, witty and sensual people in the membership.

Originally accidentally happened across the site. Read some stories that got me a little hooked on the site. I would visit once in a while and read some new stuff.

About a year ago began to interact with some of the writers, but most of the ones I talked to only wanted to write, some to even sell their writing. Checked out the bulletin boards not sure what I would find, and changed my name to protect my innocence....yeah right.

I've met a couple people here and am still wondering about doing some writing with another person. Also like to interact, and this has been a good starting point since my marriage ended. Not sure what to expect from the future, so for now, my only real writing is for my children - and that's definitely NOT lit material....
