What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

Neurosynthesis by EpochofChirality

One man band from the UK with lots of synthesizers. I think Blind_Justice would get a kick out of this.

It's good, very good. It's not as good as the English Electric albums IMHO, nor is it 'Prog album of the year' as numerous Prog publications are already screaming. It is a departure from their last bunch of pastoral albums which is nice - they were getting samey.

I have to listen some more to really get a feel for it. This is a relatively new line up as several long time key players are gone.

Thanks - I'll give it a listen.

I probably owe their back catalog a few more listens.

Welcome 2 America

Prince

about freakin' time his estate released some new music from his vaults and wow is this worth the wait. This has it all soul, R&B, funk and rock. Loving this.

Well, since you didn't post the group or track names or give us any hint as to the style of music ....

my bad
just a late night / early morning assumption that a YouTube posting would populate more of an ID than just a link . . .

MOTORCYCLE "As The Rush Comes" (Gabriel & Dresden Chillout Mix)

as far as the style of music. personally, I avoid that because when you ease into electronica the styles can be somewhere between subjective and ridiculous

but, this is considered to be TRANCE music thanks to the "mix". but, there are way too many mixes to this toon which then changes the style with each mix.

to me, this is simply PANTY-DROPPING music . . .

Wonderful classic - great song

Thank you.

Back when that song first came out Chicago was known as CTA - Chicago Transit Authority, but as that was the name of the transit system in Chicago, they were sued and shortened there name to Chicago. And they were formed in Chicago in 1967.

I remember them as CTA briefly, wasn't that the name on the first album? I had that - blue with the name in yellow I think.

I think at least two if not three of the original members are still touring with the group including Robert Lamm who wrote a fair share of the hits.

Cinema Show - Tributo a Genesis & Marillion

Chaneton

Bandcamp released the other live Chaneton album today.

One gripe, after a full tribute album to Genesis I was expecting this to be all Marillion. Nope, eight Genesis songs and two Marillion. So between the two you have eighteen Genesis covers and two Marillion.

Don't get me wrong, all the songs are done very, very well, especially "Firth of Fifth." At least the two Marillion songs are "Sugar Mice" and "Lavender" which are the two I most hoped to hear.

Fans of early Genesis and Marillion will love this.
