And how do I get one? Also, the quippy under-name titles - mine says Virgin. Some people's are totally original, and there are Experienced and such... Perhaps it could be explained to the newbie?

Those pictures under peoples names are called Avatars.
You need 100 posts to be able to use one.

The Titles you see depend on the number of posts you have.
Once you reach 1000 posts you can make up your own title.
