I would like to set my sleep schedule accordingly.

I'm tired of missing the exciting stuff.

I'm sure it exists - at some point.
 
I found until a few weeks ago that I would go to bed very late by British time - 2 or even 3 in the morning - and find that the Blurt thread had filled up 7 or 8 pages by 7 am. We are usually, and now are again, five hours ahead: so I assumed that the prime time was around 9pm to 1am Eastern time, when I suppose family people have got the children to bed and are kicking back, and also coming home from work time for the Californians and Seattle/Vancouver types.

But yes, just recently there seems to have been a lull. One never knows which threads will take off. I thought eyer's Romeo Drama thread would be full of accusations and counter accusations, but no. Whereas Smooth seems to have the knack of keeping a thread going, largely by making everyone bristle and want to disagree with him, and by his own apparently boundless energy in returning to his own shit, like a willing but dim-witted Labrador puppy.
 
Say what you want about Smooth, but he is a lightning rod as far as a conversation starter goes. From gang bangin', to illegal drugs, to bearing children out of wedlock, to understanding every aspect of depression. He is single-handedly keeping this place afloat.

That's why I had to cut back to part-time. I was full-time day, but my heart gave out after a protracted bout of pneumonia. Then, I retired, but the company begged me to come back, so I did. I don't mind the hours, they have me at home when I am most needed.
