Sadly, I think terrorism is here to stay. We can hope to reduce terrorism, surely. But unless we wish to become denizens of an all-powerful uber-state, then "personal freedom" is at issue with "security".

I have not watched tv since sept. 11th or 12th maybe, will not ever watch a news program again .

I know exactly where you're coming from. I will, however, watch with Snooze. Otherwise, I don't ever choose to watch a news program.
