What a marvelous idea.

Is that supposed to shame illegals into not committing crimes?

Illegal #1: "Let's jack that car."

Illegal #2: "Nah, I don't want my name in the papers if I'm caught. I'll never live it down."

No. It has nothing to do with illegal criminals and everything to do with the people who voted for him and possibly expanding his argument about the need for serious change in the way we deal with illegals when they break the law. We don't hide them from deportation so that they can continue to commit crimes. It's inhumane to the peaceful residents of the sanctuary barrios...

The police blotter junkies are ecstatic though. It's one less nap they'll take.

Is there a point to this or are you doing your best Spicer imitation?

While we're at it, can we ban their Facebook accounts? Instagram? Take away their Snapchat privileges?

He knows how to get under the skin and into the minds of Liberals....

That too (It's gonna be such an entertaining show to watch lol).

But as the OP suggested: he's damn clever.
They say over here: if dealing with hostile or potentially litigious people: do everything as "paper trail".
Similarly, the libs. will try to challenge or sabotage any of his decisions, no matter how right they might be. So trying to debate or explain things to them is pointless; better gather evidence to back up his decisions.

Your idea was a supercilious attempt the ridicule the measure because it will not deter criminals. Of course it is not going to deter criminals; they commit crimes, it's what they do. What it does is focus more on the damage caused by the good intentions which motivate Liberals to create sanctuaries. When they refuse to turn over illegal criminals to the Feds and continue to harbor them, then those criminals, will, of course, commit crimes.

How many Katie Steinles are we willing to sacrifice to the love and emotions of the Left?

How many Hispanics are we willing to sacrifice?

I think we need to be more compassionate...

And they will pay a monetary price for this and the crime and carnage will continue to escalate until even Liberals who are not as militant as the radicals who drive these policies begin to cry, No mas!

Okay.

Let's start publishing the names of people who kill using an unregistered gun. Let's see if we can make the NRA realize that its good intentions are killing citizens.

what good intentions? all they care about is selling guns.

So what do you do in the majority of states that do not require registration?

Okay. Transparency is good.

The only reason to oppose this is because you want to suppress anything negative about the illegals.

We're told that the illegals need sanctuary in order to feel free to report crime. However when MS13 runs your barrio, well the Feds might deport you, but those little shits will kill you. In addition, there is a severe problem with drunken driving by the illegal community. We need to get them off the road, but that driver's license in their access to the voting booth, so I'm thinking the local law goes easy on them. Not so much consideration goes towards the families that they manage to affect...

And, if you are really, really sure that this is not a big problem, why would you argue against an action that will make your point for you? Deep down, do you suspect that it might change people's minds to let them know how pervasive this problem is?

People who hate guns don't know the first thing about them.

He might want to avoid Missouri where we no longer need as much as a permit to conceal-carry...

;) ;)

It's basic math:

Legal immigrants went through a basic screening, plus they are generally individuals who were interested in certain things tgerefore worked hard enough to acquire skills.

Illegal immigrants were not subjected to any screening (criminal history) and so on. Among other risk factors.

Thinking that deadly weapons should be registered hardly equates to hate. I love my registered car.

Liberal tactic no. X:

Deflect by comparing baby strollers with trains (they both have wheels) then shift the topic towards discussing trains.

Query, your English always gets better in your snappy but meaningless quips.

Exactly. I posted some stats before about how many die in the desert just trying to get here, how many are exploited in sweatshops, how many are forced into human trafficking, and how many are here only as part of the drug trade. All of these things are things that are enabled by deciding that providing illegals sanctuary is actually high-handed, tony empathy and compassion.

Who claimed that it does?

The only reason your car is registered is to collect local property and state taxes for "education" and "infrastructure." It has not one fucking thing to do with keeping you safe. It's a revenue stream.

Case in point....

But I will try to fill you in. He was referring to the fact that people who are anti-gun do not understand gun laws and guns themselves.

* People who do not know what a AR is or understand semi-automatic
* People who do not understand their are only a handful of states that require a gun to be registered.
* People who do not understand there is no federal registry.
* People who do not understand the FBI can not keep background check records that are approved...

Ok, back on topic:

Defend why singling out "illegals in sanctuary cities" for anectdotal fearmongering without proper comparison to the population at large is a good thing.

Convenient to your narrative...but still bullshit. It is registered and licensed to establish ownership, make it traceable, determine liabilities, schedule inspections and much more. Your biases often make you a dumb fuck.

Back up your serious charge about hate.
