YES!!! I've been to celebrations before, but Ladies and Gentleman, the atmospher in and around the FU Center this evening is something I will personally NEVER EVER FORGET!!! From the pregame block party, to the player intros, just everything. My entire section stood for the duration of the game. We danced with a DJ on the concourse during halftime. High Five's, hugging and even some kissing with total strangers, Chanting and cheering, camera's going off all around, wow...I mean, it was electric!!! Then there were the indoor fireworks, and the trophy presentation for the Eastern Conference Champions, my Philadelphia 76ers! Of course, no one wanted to leave, and it was once again a party in the lobby and atrium. And outside of the stadium? Fireworks, car horns, dancing, crying, laughing...I mean, I hung out of the sunroof high fiving people in the parking lots, then down Braod Street...even the police were dancing and high fiving and cheering. It was awesome....horns, horns, EVERYONE HONKING HORNS!!! At one stoplight, everyone got out of their cars, and started dancing in the intersection for the TV cameras...it was Unbelieveable, and I'm so proud to have been a part of it all.
