It is dusk, the hour when the solar haze flickers out and blacklights illuminate the city.
You wake up to the taste of static and copper. Your HUD boots and lifts your eyelids, information flooding your head like a migraine. You're back in the slums of Grey Vein with no idea of how you got here. Somewhere down the block, the sign of a modshop short-circuits and sparks hiss against the falling rain. The alley behind you smells like sex and ozone.

Welcome back to New Vegas.
WETWARE is an erotic cyberpunk setting where players assume the role of citizens of New Vegas, a sprawling metropolis situated in what used to be the American southwest 93 years after the collapse. WETWARE is intended to be an open RPG setting where players and their stories shape the city.
This is the thread where interested players will introduce their characters and begin their journey. There are actual game mechanics (simplified for forum play) tied to a character's skills and assets. These will be used as narrative hooks during gameplay so the choices made here will impact what happens to characters during play.
What follows is a "full" character sheet. Interested players can fill out the whole thing, or fill in the basics (name, gender, appearance) and add the rest through gameplay.
Name / Alias:
Gender & Pronouns:
Apparent Age:
Sector of Origin: (e.g., Grey Vein, Emberlight, Crimson Spires, The Wastes)

(What else do you bring to the table?)

[ Primary ] 60% Character has a "Narrative Advantage" (plot armor) when using this skill
[Support 1] 40% Skill is reliable with the right gear or in the right context
[Support 2] 30% The character "dabbles" in the skill and can improvise in the right context
Starting Control: 0% (Increases when you're compromised, dominated, overwhelmed, etc.)
Your Weak Point:
Note: Losing "control" causes a cognitive override event, causing the player to lose autonomy for a turn, allowing a player or NPC to choose the player's action for the next post.
