It's probably still their fault, or that's how it'll play out. Just not bad enough to excuse the rape and murder of a little girl.

The lifestyle issue was not the only problem. If you recall the early stages of the investigation, there were some facts initially withheld by the parents regadring marijuana use. They feared being persecuted for having used marijuana the prior evening and the defense attorney tried to capitalize on this by denigrating the honesty and integrity of the parents thus calling into question all their testimony.

Danielle's killer might well have been given a pass by the war on drugs had the defense gotten a juror of the OJ mentality.

The penalty phase of the trial begins next Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how that shakes out. While I think he should get the death penalty, CA has in effect no death penalty because of the endless series of appeals whose expense is borne by the taxpayer entirely.

I think the best justice would be life without parole and put him in general population. It shouldn't take long for everyone to learn his name and reason for incarceration.

All child molesters should spend the their lives in jail, Child molesters who murder innocent children should be put to death,. a northern Ohio girl who has been missing for a week or so has been found dismembered. She was 14 years old. The animal arrested for her murder is a convicted molester who was released back into the community. The only cure for these sick bastards is death.
