The "mainstream" American reaction (fueled by media incitement) against this group is simply amazing. Mike, you as much as anyone, should be standing up for this group which has been targeted simply because of its expression of free speech.

This group is not "bad" just because it has an opinion. America is bad for getting upset about it. Shame on America, not on these people. Why does anyone care what their opinion is? Why would it make someone mad? America has become a scary place due to its ideological intolerance. What other opinions will Americans get mad over next?

Having an opinion and expressing it is not what the hatred of the WBC is about. There are many people opposed to same sex marriage, etc., and few people are telling them to rot in Hell. What causes me and tens of millions of other Americans to curse and revile this evil man is the way he presented his message.

He and his fellow scum go or went to funerals of members of the military - men and women who had died in service to their country and loudly announced how happy the WBC was about the deaths, what a wonderful thing they were and that they were God's will. He made media circuses out of what should have people's opportunities to mourn their dead and, for these trespasses, he will never been forgiven, by me or anybody else.

If I were Saint Peter and Fred Phelps were to come knocking at the Pearly Gates, I would politely ask him to turn around and bend over. Then I would kick him in the ass as hard as I could, sending him back down the Golden Stairway to the darkest and hottest pit of Hell where he so richly belongs.
