Can we all say Seige Mentality?
Understanably so.
I could not get below 14th street - everything blocked.
NYC Blue Boys, Blue Boy Recruits, State Troopers and Army Guardsmen with full auto rifles.
Convoys of vehicles everywhere.
Army choppers making deliveries.
Chealsea Peirs is a huge EMT staging area with about 200 plus ambulances ready and waiting.
All possible targets are locked down and ringed by police.
ConEd has various vehicles parked strategically to block any car bomb attacks.
And no yellow cabs to be found. Most cabbie here tend to where towels for hats. It's my guess that they are taking a few days off.
