US Command Post moved to Qatar
Somebody's son has had his release delayed
UK troops moving to the South of England 'on exercise'
No help from the UN
Elections coming up in US
Winter only a couple of months away in Iraq...

It's started.

I hope you remembered to forward this to Saddam -- just in case his intelligence types are asleep today.

No need. All Intelligence Agencies have more holes in them than Swiss cheese!

:)

I think

PP is right here. Things are falling in place for a major conflict. I read yesterday that British troops about 10,000 of them are moving to Kuwait soon. Like pieces toa puzzle. They are all coming together.

Piffle. Believe everything you read much?

So stop-loss was enacted on one person. I'm sure there's much more to the story that we don't know. It's being used, sporadically, here and there throughout the military. Don't mean nothing.

Vinny, where did you read this? Have a link?

No link

I read it in the paper. . It seems some points made sound pretty good,. But ofcourse I could be wrong

Stop-loss

Actually it was used on over 10,000 airmen in which there are still over 5,00o still on stop-loss according to the Air Force Times

My point is that just because some people are on stop-loss doesn't mean that we're going to attack Iraq right now. It's my understanding that it's been in effect for different people and at different times ever since last year, in direct response to the terrorist acts.

Also what I want to say is not to jump to conclusions and/or make assumptions on limited info.

Okay, enough lecturing on being responsible adults.

I understand what you are saying

In no way would I jump to conclusions. I just think it will be sooner than the civilian world thinks. Civilian being the keyword here

Do the words "military secret" mean anything to you? This is a public bulletin board. If you are actually in the military, and you genuinely have information that your superiors do not want divulged to Iraq about timing -- then what the hell are you doing even alluding to it here?

I have

No military secrets at all. I am mearly looking back at past conflicts and stating that the military and or government always lead the public astray. I am in no way implying I know anything

GWB said three times as much to the press yesterday, aint he the commander in chief

Thats the thing

About internet communication. You can read something and throw it out of context to no fault of anybody

You specifically said you had information that you could not divulge, strongly implying that was the reason things might happen sooner than civilians thought.

Either you are full of shit, and making it up to sound important, or you just said something in the interests of sounding important that worked against the interests of your country. Not that I am guessing Iraqi intelligence spends much time scanning Literotica...
