Well this made me stop and think while plastering a smile on my face.

One of my co-workers brought up the contest held in Key West every year at Fantasy Fest. This is the contest where they judge the Body Painting.

My co-worker brought this up while commenting on the pictures sometimes seen on the Internet. She wanted to know why we couldn't go around like this, with our bodies painted?

I explained that there is this little thing called Indecent Exposure, to which she replied how this could be because the body is covered in paint.

Yep she was right, the body is covered, technicly(sp).

Hmmmmmmmmm.

:D Just so.

Unfortunately, in Canada, you do need clothes much of the year.

So true. Last time I went was right in the middle of a summer and it was still too chilly to go naked (not that I usually do anyway). The other times were winters, so that would have led to a bad case of frozen bits.

I don't have any spare bits.

Where in Canada if I may ask? Summer usually isn't too bad in most places. Although at least once every summer it gets too hot to breathe in Toronto.

And y'all don't believe in air-conditioning, either. I thought I was going to die last August.

Montreal. It may have been a freaky summer.

I believe you had a lake to swim in.

I have a lake here, about fifteen minutes walk away. But by August the water's usually too polluted to swim in.

Cat, if you do decide to try the body paint thing, remember to take lots and lots of pictures and post them here! ;)

pagan festivals, folks ... pagan festivals.

Since this was taken off a website that is publically accessible, I'll share. Generally at these events, photos are discouraged. I'm absolutely dying to go to Starwood this year, but reality is looking harsh. :( Bummer.

I'd guess because it's pretty much impossible to dress yourself in the mornings if all you're wearing is body paint.

PS: Also if you don't want to wear shorts/panties under the paint, regular waxing is pretty much required.
