Now tell me this.
Why don't more people admit to believing in Satan?
We've all been in situations where the hairs on the backs of our necks move in fear. We've all broken out in sweats for no apparant reason other than a place seems spooky. And what does spooky mean anyway? Somethiing to fear (of the unknown perhaps) and what unknown?
God?
or Satan?
It's things like that which keeps the image and the belief in Satan very much alive.
And yet you don't get many people admitting to believing in him.
Why not. His presence is more tangible than God's. Still spiritual, but we have the evidence of our own reactions to rely on. If the body can act in a certain way when we meet something unkown and terrifying without actually seeing it, does that not mean that we have a strong belief in evil and in Satan himself?
But we just don't talk about it...
