My mother was a bit upset. Everything she knows about the internet she learned from watching Springer or Rikki. She is convinced my internet crush is either a man or a 68 year old grandmother, eager to con me out of the Nitelight fortune.

It wasn't easy on the Beauty either. She knew that my mother got upset when I told her, and she was convinced my mother hated her.

It wasn't an easy day for the two women I love most in the world, but I feel it was an important day. My mother needs time to get used to the idea, but once she sees how happy the Beauty has made me and what a difference she has made in my life, I'm sure she'll come to love her as much as I do.

As far as the Beauty goes, I love her love her love her, and love conquers all. I think this was a monumental day in our lives. We've talked a lot about having a future together, but it has always been just the two of us. This was the first time our relationship touched the real world.

That makes sense then on why mom would still be worried that Beauty could be a man. Didn't you have any pix of Beauty to show mom? Or she's just a skeptic at heart?
