I'm thinking of all President Trump's former friends who've earned insults, threats of prosecution and withdrawal of security clearances and protection details.

When Mr Musk finds himself no longer useful to the President, he'll end up on the dirty end of everything from weirdly cruel nicknames to anti-trust investigations and invasion-of-privacy lawsuits!

It's been absolutely fascinating watching MAGA nation launch one failed offensive after another in their attempts to dominate the discourse (i.e. control the discussion) at Bluesky ( which passed the 30 million account threshold AND the one billion posts threshold together just last week).

  • First, MAGA registered on Bluesky and attempted to cross-shitpost everything they said on Twitter on Bluesky. Many major Twitter shitposters (LibsOfTikTok,Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson come to mind) got multiple "hate speech notices' when they cross-posted their usual "trannies/homos/minorities must DIE!" hate-spew rhetoric and most were summarily banhammered within 72 hours.
  • Not surprisingly, they next tried "the swarm". They went full-Bobo and registered thousands of dummy proxy email accounts and tried to monopolize the front page by following each other. This lasted about 4 hours. Auto-block rules!
  • Then they tried "you like them, why don't you marry them?" They created two separate curated lists: the first one had everyone who posted on Bluesky who listed their home as being in Gaza. Then they created a curated list of everyone who had variations of "I support Gaza" or "against genocide" in their profile and titled it "Let's all pitch in to rebuild Gaza one home at a time" and spammed the Gazan resident list with "Here's a list of people helping to fund Gazan rebuilding....don't be ashamed to ask for help". (They've tried variations of this two or three times).
  • Then they tried the "confusion to my enemies!" ploy registering innocuous accounts with names like "The Florida Blue Resistors" and "Moms against Moms For Liberty". They would make one single anti-Trump post, then say if you support us, make sure you block this list of known troublemakers! Then they created an autoblock list, where the first 15 or so were ultra-MAGA Twitter influencers who had already been been banned by BlueSky but then pivoted and listed 985 actual liberal or/centerist major influencers (they were counting on the fact that most folks vet only the first page of block lists and didn't look at the remaining 24 or so pages...heh heh "we so sneaky! we will get the libs to block their own feeds! If we cannot control the platform, we will trick them into deplatforming themselves! Checkmate libtards!"
  • The latest trend is "We Will, We Will DOXX YOU!". This is a particularly evil twist, but to explain it you need to know what "API calls" are. (If you know what one is, skip ahead to the next part. An API call is, at its essence, a high speed aggregating search function. Twitter had one of these bad boys which they made available to users for a nominal charge ($10 a month I think?). You got anonymized summary data (i.e. "How many times was a Subway Click-here-for-a-free-sandwich Sunday link shared on Twitter?"). Fuhrer Elon bought the joint and was horrified: Data is reserved to be the coin of the realm for billionaires. He promptly raised access prices for API calls to about $5000 per month, effective immediately. He could have this implemented because Twitter is a centrally managed social eco-system...Musk just ordered the gatekeepers to "shut it down"
  • "We Will, We Will DOXX YOU (Part two)": The main difference between Twitter and Bluesky is Twitter is a CLOSED system and Bluesky is an OPEN system. This essentially prevents one bad apple from "poisoning the well" of social discourse, in Musk's case by hijacking the news feed and poisoning it with crypto-fascist spam (and to a lesser extent, Mark Zuckerberg poisoning the Meta Threads news feed with clickbait fake posts to drive advertising views)
    • Both Twitter and Threads are CLOSED Systems.
    • Users have 100% control over their own news feed in an OPEN system (Bluesky). which most people who do not have fascist/authoritarian worldviews mightily appreciate.
    • Being 100% open source has one serious drawback....potentially all information about a post you make is potentially available to others.
    • MAGA, being a continuing criminal enterprise, has made steps to clone the Twitter API call to call Bluesky, with one absolutely vital difference: Whereas Twitter went out of their way to mask the identity of their users (i.e. no one could definitively trace the activity of user "IFuqSheep" to a home owned by a guy named, for example only, "Wat Tyler of Hickville Holler, West Virginia".....the ethically challenged MAGA hackers went out of their way to identify both the name and address of the underlying users they disapprove of. They'll find a post that does not meet their MAGA standards, use an API call overnight to dump a userid's entire posting history, Use AI to scan for names, attempt to cross reference users to their employers, then the following week your employer gets an anonymous email
    • "Dear Sir, I think you should know that a certain employee of yours, Wat Tyler , has been found on the BlueSky platform posting about consensual sex between men and sheep! *see attached screenshots* Does he represent the values that your company XYZ corp presents to the community and do you have any idea how this will corrupt the minds of our precious American youth? Signed, a concerned citizen"

because trump cannot help idolising the richest man in the world, the wealthiest oligarchs, the most despotic leaders... he wants to have what they have, he wants the world to see him as the wealthiest and most powerful, 'publicly loved, honoured and obeyed' like north korea's dictator. He simply cannot help himself. He should never have been allowed anywhere near the presidency, and is the one to blame for musk—another one who already sees himself as the most powerful—now holding the reins in all but name.
