........*meep* X_x *collapses*

Lurkers....

I know you're reading this.....go ahead....read...but don't post....it's what you're good at right? :p

*feels a bit pissy*

I feel your pain. I went for about 3 weeks of 90+ temps with my ac broke, when I finally got it fixed (and it's been fairly cool weather ever since) I turned it down to 45 and left it there for 3 days.

N.B. Note Bene:

I live in the armpit of texASS......i.e. humid....sweaty....stinky....icky poo....
The ac went out lastweek....then night before last (sunday) ....ugh....this is soooo not cool...(haha)

What a way to end a gloomy day....and begin a not so fun evening....

You live in Waco?

NOOOO!!!!! WORSE much much WORSE..... I ...I live in......*gasps for air* the bayou city.....*pant pant* .....houston....*collapses*

i feel your pain. i've lived in texas most of my life and now reside about 30 minutes from austin. it's hot here, probably 98 today but i came down to houston a couple of years ago to help a friend with a gazebo kit and thought i was gonna freakin' die.

run away as fast as you can.

run away

i plan on it.....after i finish college.....I'm boarding a plane offa this icky state.....i wanna go back home to misery (missouri) Where the grass stays green...the trees sing of bright greens and actually turn colors in the fall....(aside from dead brown) ...and the water doesn't have a high level of clorine....(one day i could actually smell the "pool smell" of clorine....)

that's a great choice. i was born in springfield but can't really lay any claim to it. i have vacationed on tablerock lake many times though and have been there in the fall. it is beautiful and so much different than even my little piece of hill country hevin'. it get's a little too cold for my old texas bones though and then there's that white stuff in the winter.

anyway, good luck with your ac.

thank ye

thank uncka j!

That white stuff be snow....
St. Louis...(a bit west of to be exact) was my home town....13 wonderful years in "Eden" to be cast into this slimey mudhole....with NO FUCKING AC!!!!

[if i seem a bit more bitchy than normal you all know why....*curses at the repairman...* says he'll be here before six pm...it's only 4:45]

maybe....but think of the water bill.....we are 'this close' to a drought!!!!

I've got a pool but that means i can't take my laptop with me....well ok i could but i wouldn't be able to be online....and i have to leave for school in a few mins...
