My wife and I went to work in the hospital Friday morning. Evacuated to another hospital a bit further inland then waited for Frances to hit. Oh did that little bitch hit. We lost power early Friday evening. Frances decided she would be different, she just had to hang around the Treasure coast. Maybe she liked our climate, who knows. We were finally released on Sunday Afternoon and made our way home to find very little damage. We sweltered in the heat up until 1745 this afternoon when F.P.L. replaced a transformer which had blown off it's pole and into Lake Mangonia.
There is still a lot of clean up to deal with but we are all thankfull there was only one death from this storm. (Guy out driving in Boca Raton had a heart attack and drove off the road.)
I did get some pictures, and will post one or two when I get them downloaded. There is also a story I started, now I have to transcribe the ten pages I wrote from the notebook to the computer. (No power means no computer.)
