I have 60 Gb hard drive and wanted to add a 40 GB to store Movies and such on.
After reading up on four or five different ways and how to's i decided to dive in and pray i would not scrap my computer.
I could not come up with the correct jumper settings for "slave" on my fourty gig drive. I broke down and read the manual and Damned if they didn't tell me that i did not need a jumper to make it a slave.
Not only that but they gave me simple instructions on how to use the software that came with it to do it in about two minutes after i hook it up using their advice and common sense!
I lift my glass in a toast to them!
