Hi all!

This forum is here for our Volunteer Editors to meet & exchange ideas, and also for our authors to make comments and ask questions regarding the Volunteer Editor Program. Before you read the forum, please visit the Volunteer Editors List and read the introductory information:

http://www.literotica.com/storyxs/voled_stor.shtml

If you have contacted an editor on the list and they have not responded in a reasonable timeframe, please email or PM me and I will check on the situation.

Thanks for your support, and Happy Editing!

The volunteer editors

I am all for the Volunteer editors program and am a little conscern as to when it is going to be reactivated. I realize that it must be hard to run a site this large but I would like to know if there is an aproximate time frame, or event better if there is a thread already started on the subject. I feel out of place posting this thread and would like to hear if there is a better place for me to get more info.

Thanks.

Willing to volunteer

Hi all. I have talked with several fellow writers and I have to say that being able to chat and send stories back and forth is a great way to further develop your writing skills. If anyone needs any help or just want to walk through a story line, my MSN messenger and Yahoo are always on. MSN is freaknut77@hotmail.com and on Yahoo, its docs_wife2001.

Would like to be a volunteer editor

How does one go about becoming a Volunteer Editor; or wants to know how long it takes before a story is accepted for submittal.

Thank you ~

They are currently revamping the scripts that run the volunteer editors program to make it more user friendly and to help writers find an editor without a bunch of emails that never get responses. There's been no mention of a timetable.

It's currently taking between 4 and 5 days to get the story reviewed.

You may have more success when looking for a volunteer editor on the forum if you create a new thread. That way editors who would otherwise not open this thread can find you! And they do look here.

Additionally, it's not a good idea to put an email address in your post. There are webcrawlers who do nothing but search through pages looking for posted addresses. It's often better to request that interested parties PM you through the bulletin boards feature. Just make sure that your PMs are turned on! You can do this in the UserCP section under options. You can tell if they're not by looking for a PM button beneath your post. If it's not present, then your PMs are shut off. A PM is a private message. You can check them by clicking User CP at the top of your screen.

Good luck!
