Okay, I think I've dug about as far back into this forum as it's possible to go.

Out of curiosity, what are you using to run Chyoo? Is it a variation on some pre-existing software, like Addventure, or is it something totally homegrown?

In fairness maybe you should be familiar with the situation before making comments about it. Despite the way Lil guy made his point, it is actually true the moderators of chyoo pay little attention to it. Just check the topics about the length of times it has taken for the site to be updated in comparison to the same time on Literotica.

I've actually read many threads about turnaround times, lack of response, and so forth since I got here. Please don't presume that my small number of posts indicates that I can't read.

Regardless of the general neglect put forth by the webmasters, being an ass about it doesn't improve the situation one whit. Poisoning the water is no way to fish.

Eventually, perhaps, though in the beginning I'd probably just do what I'm doing right now: play with it out of sight of other people, just experimenting with the hyperfictive format.

Sure, I could hand-code a story map and do it that way, but Chyoo's engine makes the code part less of a hassle and lets me consider storytelling more directly.

In order for poisning the water to mean anything they would have to actully thread said waters sometimes. yea they might get insulted but really what are the changes of them actully reading this

honestly. Also worst been said. Mind was a light Joke and really not anything pass what has been said before. And really it only when people were the most argravating that we got a response

That, I couldn't say. But from my perpective, they're giving us a free service that's actually pretty cool, so the least we can do is be polite, even when we get frustrated. At least Chyoo is still around, and didn't get deleted if/when the webmaster(s) got bored with it.

Hello, I've written a little bit on chyoo.com, but I've run into a problem in starting my own story. It's called "A Special Visit." I have a number of threads on it, but it still is listed as "approval pending." It doesn't appear in the list of stories available on the site.

I tried re-posting the whole story, in case I did something wrong when I initially made it, but no luck. (I am also unable to delete that repeat story).

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.

Well, basically you're gonna have to wait until its approved...and the last time they did that we were celebrating Independance Day 2004. Thats basically the major gripe here...if we could at least get stories approved we'd be satiated for the moment.

It is a backdoor solution to your problem, but what you can do is link it to this forum using the hyperlink provided and then people can access it and read it before it is officially approved as that appears to be something that may never happen again. You have a more limited pool of writers, but at least some people will be able to see it.
