I’m overthinking my spring wardrobe. I’ve recently lost some weight and I’m in between sizes. My old spring clothes are too big so I need new ones, but do I go with the size that currently fits best knowing I’m going to lose 10 more lbs. and be in a smaller size or wait until I reach my goal?

That's a REALLY good thing to overthink.

I think you should get a few staple pieces for now while planning for later but... let me think about it more.

if you need something new to wear while you are losing weight I would suggest a midi length flowy dress with a belt that will look good on you when you have lost weight too. You can just tighten the belt.

Same goes for the oversized belted trench coats in all the shops at the moment. I tried a gorgeous one on today.

I’ve kind of done this already and it’s worked out until now. I usually only work 2 days in the office so I could get away with a few staples, but I just found out on Friday I have to go in everyday for the next few weeks to train someone. I’m super pissed off for many reasons which is a whole other story, but now I’m left with what the fuck am I going to wear???

Oh geez, now I’m back to overthinking how much I loathe my boss and weighing the pros and cons of looking for a new job.

I’m over thinking the voice memo that I just sent because I probably didn’t need to send it. Honestly, I sent it because I was overthinking some thing else. So now I can overthink sending the voice memo and I’m still overthinking the reason that I sent a voice memo.

I would buy a few dresses - wrap ones, elasticized at the top, empire waisted, stretchy, flowy - all styles that have a lot of give in terms of sizes. They’re cute on their own or you can throw a cardigan/jacket over them. Or nice leggings and flowy tops. Jeans with stretch.

I am overthinking what snack I will have when I eventually get the munchies later. I am already thinking crisps, fruit or chocolate. I don’t even know why I am thinking of fruit because it will definitely be crisps or chocolate. May as well take the crisps out of the thinking too because chocolate always wins. I’ve purposefully avoided checking in so that I could fully disengage (something I rarely do)…but do I check in now? Risk ruining my last day off just to clear my plate for Monday? Or do I overthink about what shit might have hit the fan in my absence?

Fortunately for me, my work is impactful but it’s not life or death like many other Litsters…so I should keep that in perspective.
