What Fresh Hell? Trump’s deranged populism edition

Remember candidate Trump, the populist? He said that he didn’t need to bow to powerful special interests because he was already rich, so he would fight for the little guy. He was going to make coal great again, and bring jobs back to white people in towns that had once enjoyed vibrant, bustling main streets but as a result of NAFTA now have only an opioid bar and a couple of used condom stores. He railed against Wall Street. He attacked both Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton for being too close to Goldman Sachs.

So how’s that working out?

No too well is it? I wonder if there will be elections in 2018?

Perhaps Trump will declare a national emergency and suspend the elections until a new Voter's rights act can be passed, one that calls for only "Patriotic Voters (R's)" to be eligible to vote?

I don't know, but I know the Rs will do nothing when the Mueller charges come down. They are planting the seeds to let the Trumps get away with everything.

David Brooks: The Republican Party is repulsive to millennials and people of color

David Brooks continues his crusade speaking to anyone who would listen, about the degeneration of the Republican Party. Chuck Todd referenced the article Brooks wrote recently and asked what would be the impact of a Roy Moore win to the Republican Party. Brooks did not mince his words. He was blunt.

"It would be a temporary vote for a Supreme Court Justice, for a tax cut but for a generation you are repulsive," said Brooks. "You are repulsive to younger people, twenty-eight percent of millennials think the Republican Party thinks about them. That's just a generational problem. You are repulsive to people of color forever. And so you end up, not only making yourself unpopular but to corrupting a piece of yourself. To me, the interesting people in this whole deal are the honorable Republicans in Congress. T,he Portman(s), the McCain(s), the Barrasso(s), Tim Scott. A couple of them have been very principled. But a lot of them have said, 'I am going to tolerate Trump's dishonesty. I am going to tolerate some racial politics.' But now they have to tolerate rape. Now they have to tolerate pedophilia. There is no end to what they are going to be asked to tolerate. And that is internally so corrosive."

Trump has successfully brought the Rethuglicans to the edge of disaster, can he push them over the cliff? Find out next Tuesday!:)

Trump sex assault accusers to appear on Megyn Kelly’s show before Monday press conference

Tune in to Megyn on Monday for the real dirt! :)

Three women who have accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault will appear on Megyn Kelly’s NBC show at 9 a.m. on Monday before they have a national press conference at 10:30.

The official Twitter account for “Megyn Kelly Today” made the announcement Sunday night, tweeting, “Tomorrow in a #MegynTODAY exclusive: Jessica Leeds, Samantha Holvey & Rachel Cooks, three women who have publicly accused President Trump of sexual misconduct, sit down live with Megyn at 9am.”

Prepare for the tweet storm to follow! :D

‘Serial misconduct and perversion’: Trump accusers describe incidents ‘a thousand times worse than what Franken has done’

A total of 16 women joined together Monday to address their stories of sexual assault and sexual harassment at the hands of President Donald Trump.

While many of these women came forward during the 2016 election, the Trump campaign attacked them, their lives and many right-wing activists invented information designed to discredit them.

The three women that spoke earlier to Megyn Kelly sat at a table with documentarian Robert Greenwald of Brave New Films. He commended the reporters who have investigated the many accounts across all industries about sexual harassment.

“There was one man that wasn’t being held accountable — who’s not being called out,” Greenwald said. That’s why he decided to create the documentary with the women.

Freedom of the Press, the Internet, torches and pitch forks of the new age!:D

‘That c*nt woman from the airplane’: Accuser Jessica Leeds reveals her first entanglement with Trump after he groped her

Leeds met Trump in the 1970s while working as a saleswoman. Times were different, she explained in a New York Times interview before the election in 2016. According to her account, Trump groped and kissed her while the two sat next to each other in first class seats.

“Whether it was 15 minutes or not, it seemed like forever,” she recalled.

“They served a dinner. After the dinner was cleared he began encroaching on my side of the seat,” Leeds later told NPR’s Audie Cornish. “Mr. Trump started coming over to me and groping me and trying to embrace me. And then his hands started going up my skirt.”

“I don’t recall saying no, I don’t recall saying stop,” she said. “I don’t recall saying anything. It was like a silent pantomime. I remember at one point looking over at the guy in the seat across the aisle, and his eyes were like bugging out of his head.”

But when she moved to New York things changed. She was working for the Humane Society of New York and had a fundraising gala at Saks Fifth Avenue. She was assigned to hand out the seating assignments. That’s when she encountered Trump.

“At that point, I had been in the city long enough to read about the Trump family and some of the gossip that was going around and I recognized him immediately as the guy on the plane,” Leeds said. She went on to say that Trump told her, “I remember you. You were that c*nt woman from the airplane.”

Leeds wished that there could be some reckoning with Trump and that he couldn’t be “teflon” and get away with it.

What a dick!

Trump’s Treasury admits tax plan won’t pay for itself

After months of pressure from watchdog groups, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, led by Trump-appointee Steve Mnuchin, has released a one-page analysis of the Republican tax bill. The report shows that even when analyzed under Republican-favored methods, the tax cuts will enlarge the federal deficit and will require additional policy changes to create the revenue needed to pay for them.

The analysis shows that only half of the growth will come from the trickle-down effect of the tax cuts. The other half would be spurred by a “combination of regulatory reform, infrastructure development, and welfare reform.” This means that in order for the tax plan to make up for its estimated $1.5 trillion addition to the federal debt, Congress will have to pass sweeping infrastructure legislation, cuts to entitlement programs like Medicare and Social Security, and other unspecified regulatory reform.

The report also assumes that the economy will experience nearly 3 percent in growth over the next 10 years—that’s a level of growth the U.S. hasn’t seen since 2005. “We acknowledge that some economists predict different growth rates,” Treasury wrote in the document.

The Trumpanzies Lied and now admit it! ??

This is how stupid they think the Trump Chumps are. :)

That's the goal. Destroy the social safety net. Send millions into poverty, cut off their healthcare, reduce them to peonage, return to slavery. It's all up front now. They just hope the expanded underclass won't revolt and lynch them before their private security can cut-down the raging mobs.

Trump Hands Kirsten Gillibrand Knife, Begs Her To Chop Off His Peener

Oh, Donald! You glorious fucking idiot! On the day when Alabama’s making its final decision on whether to vote for a sexual predator, a decision that will hinge on turn-out from African-Americans and pissed off women, you LITERALLY TWEETED that the wonderful, highly respected female senator from New York BEGS you for campaign contributions (and would do anything for them, by which you, the president, mean she is willing to fuck or blow you for them). You did this in the middle of the #MeToo awakening, when women are not fucking taking it anymore.

And, you fucking moron, you also took Kirsten Gillibrand’s bait. We will ‘splain in one sec, but first, Gillibrand has responded on Twitter:

So “Morning Joe” was awesome after Trump tweeted that. Want to watch Mika Brzezinski literally yell at the TV camera, reserving much of her ire for Sarah Huckabee “Poot Lips” Sanders, the press secretary who, just yesterday, essentially said Bitches Be Lyin’ about her beloved boss, Donald Trump?

:D

Trump’s poll ratings approaching new historic low: Richard Nixon’s during Watergate

WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump's job approval rating dropped to a new low of 32 percent in a poll released Wednesday, a mark similar to President Richard Nixon's a year before the Watergate scandal forced his resignation.

Trump's disapproval rating of 56 percent in the Monmouth University poll is his highest since becoming president. In August, he had 41 percent approval and 49 percent disapproval ratings.

Nixon's approval rating in the Gallup poll dipped to 31 percent in August 1973. President Jimmy Carter reached 31 percent in October 1979, before Iranian hostage crisis. Nixon resigned a year later while Carter lost his re-election bid to Ronald Reagan in November 1980.

More than two-thirds of women, 68 percent, disapproved of Trump's job performance, while 24 percent approved. Among men, 40 percent approved and 44 percent disapproved.

Trump fared little better in two other polls released this week.

A Quinnipiac University survey gave him an approval rating of 37 percent, 20 points below the 57 percent who disapproved of his performance in office. And a Marist College poll had Trump with 37 percent positive and 56 percent negative ratings.

His polls might improve if he'd shoot Pence on 5th Ave?

Don't miss stories. Follow Raw Story!

President Donald Trump was notified during the transition that the CIA had conclusive proof that Russian president Vladimir Putin had personally directed hacking operations before the 2016 U.S. election.

Trump has repeatedly denied U.S. intelligence findings about Russian interference, and both he and Putin have insisted the claims were made up by Democrats to justify the election loss by Hillary Clinton.

But the Washington Post reported Thursday that Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Director James B. Comey met with Trump on Jan. 6 to report the CIA “had captured Putin’s specific instructions on the operation.”

The officials had already briefed President Barack Obama and members of Congress about the intercepts, and they expected the president-elect to throw them out of Trump Tower.

However, they said he reacted to the findings calmly.

Trump continues to deny Russian interference in the U.S. election, saying just last month after a face-to-face meeting in Vietnam that he believed Putin’s insistence that the Kremlin hadn’t meddled.

The president’s aides avoid bringing up the topic during national security briefings for fear of Trump going “off the rails,” according to the same report.

Republican commentator slams Trump for ignoring Russian interference intel because it ‘hurts his little feelings

Tara Setmayer, a conservative ABC commentator and former communications director to “Putin’s favorite congressman” Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) on Thursday criticized President Donald Trump over revelations from a Washington Post report that claimed he is “affronted” when people bring Russia up around him.

“I worked for a member who also was on the [House] Foreign Affairs Committee, and so we saw a lot of cyber security issues concerning China, initially, years ago,” Setmayer said, explaining that in her time on Capitol Hill, what’s known today as cyber warfare was called “asymmetric warfare.”

“It would be naive to think that Russia wouldn’t be involved in a similar strategy to attack the United States,” she continued.

Nevertheless, Setmayer said it’s scary that President Trump is “in denial” about Russia’s election interference, which has been documented in other countries for decades, “because it hurts his little feelings.”

Fuck Trump and the whore he road in on!

And his staffers who hang around him and coddle his little feelings. I hope none of them are able to find jobs ever again.

They'll find many openings in the ever-growing janitorial, sex-work, and fast-food industries. These will be ideal for their talents.

I’m a brain specialist. I think Trump should be tested for a degenerative brain disease

When President Trump slurred his words during a news conference this week, some Trump watchers speculated that he was having a stroke. I watched the clip and, as a physician who specializes in brain function and disability, I don't think a stroke was behind the slurred words. But having evaluated the chief executive's remarkable behavior through my clinical lens for almost a year, I do believe he is displaying signs that could indicate a degenerative brain disorder.

As the president's demeanor and unusual decisions raise the potential for military conflict in two regions of the world, the questions surrounding his mental competence have become urgent and demand investigation.

Until now, most of the focus has been on the president's psychology. It's now time to think of the president's neurology - and the possibility of an organic brain disorder.

Every day of my working life, I evaluate people with brain injuries. It falls to me to make decisions about what is normal and what is not, what can improve and what will not, whether or not my patients can work, what kind of work they can do, and pretty much everything else.

Another expert points out that Donald is dysfunctionaly dense. How much longer can Mike hold out before 25th'ing Dysfunctional Donald?

We'll see whether the Walter Reed physical comes off or not and what, if anything, it reveals. Before then, a stroke could off him. I wouldn't cry crocodile tears.

CDC gets list of forbidden words: fetus, transgender, diversity
The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the nation’s top public health agency from using a list of seven words or phrases — including “fetus” and “transgender” — in any official documents being prepared for next year’s budget.

Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based.”
Kind of hard to discuss reproduction without saying 'fetus'.

They'll just use a different term, like "womb shroom."

They could just go ahead and call the words what they always did and thumb their noses at the administration. Increasingly, everyone else is thumbing their nose at the administration.
