I know it can be hard to 'fit in' here at the GB because of the turmoil and strife that occurs here, but I am hoping that even if you face problems here, that you realize that we are just one big dysfunctional family, and that there is a really good chance that if you like to have fun, talk about stuff that is thought provoking or not, experiance the joys and sorrows of finding true friendship or just the fun in making aquaintances then you've come to the right place.
Just remember, Not everyone stands out here right off the bat.
It isn't because we don't like new people, it is because it is a big board, with a lot of history, and many of us have very busy lives, and can't attend to every new persons welcome and integration on the board.
Sadly, as a fact, if you are a controversial person, or a prick you'll probably stand out more than a nice, pleasent person. But, that doesn't mean that we don't want you to vistit and post here, or want to get to know you, but remember, these things take time.
I have been here for two years and I am just now feeling like I am 'fitting in'. That is because for a long time I based my 'fitting in' on how I was recieved publicly. I've learned that the best way to fit myself in, is to get to know people on a one on one personal level, but unfortuneatly I have only a matter of time to do that in, per day. That is why it takes so long.
Once you start to get to know people on a personal level, you'll probably find yourself engaged in more of the community activity then if you just posted to threads all of the time.
Remember: We do love fresh faces... new outlooks on old problems, and even that of those who have the good ol stubborn bastard that won't budge syndrome are even welcome here!
Come on in and join the fun, shit, annoyances, fun, sex talk, shit, trolls, and the good people of literotica.
Also, there are lots of awesome places to post around the BB. Explore and you never know what you'll find.
This is a great website, and this whole bulletin board, as is, is worth preserving.
