I got home from work, and sat down to relax...*yawn*...I'm beat, what with the Monday night football game (GO VIKES!!) and the hockey home opener (GO WILD!!) and this cold kicking me in the ass. But, I came upstairs and logged on the computer to check my messages, and I started hearing this noise. It's hard to describe the noise, but it was distracting. I looked up, and noticed all these ladybugs swarming the lightbulbs on the ceiling.

WTF??? How did they get in here? And what on earth do they want?

I heard they are a symbol of good fortune.

Just thought I'd share a happy story...oh, except one of them toasted itself on the lightbulb...and the cat tried to eat it...I feel happier already. :)

Hey Sammyjo. I watched Monday night. The Vikings look real good and Dennis Miller is getting funnier. Do the Rams play the Vikings in the regular season? They sure look like the two best teams. Fuck Sparky and his chump change Redskins.

How is my favorite governor Jesse the Body doing these days?

So what's your new title? If you haven't selected one, may I? I mean this as a total compliment. It's good to be a bitch. "Queen Bitch."

Title

I think the LadyBugs were a sign... and even if they weren't Sammy should still pay homage and make LadyBug her title hehe

December 10th...I'm sure it will be one hell of a game. The Vikings are awesome this year...of course they'll choke in the playoffs as usual...it just wouldn't be the same if they didn't.

Ummm...we listen to the game on the radio...my dad hates DM with a passion, so I'm not sure if he's funny or not.

Fuck Jesse...he's a moron...and yes, you CAN quote me on that one...

I like that title...and it suits me...but I'm still not sure if I should change it or not...oh well, I'll get around to a decision sooner or later. Thanks for thinking of me, you've always been my favorite. *hugs*

not to...

burst your bubble, BUT are the lady bugs orange more than red? well if so, they aren't ladybugs, they are a form of beetle, cleverly disguised. and they bite. sorry. i have those too. this year has been bad for them, and they keep hatching out of cycle. i know cause i thought i had a spider prob, nope just those damned look alike lady bugs. there color seems faded or orangish...be careful.

I've seen those around here too. I had the opportunity to bite back this afternoon. I was out with my cat and was talking to him when one flew into/onto my lip. I immediately came in and brushed my teeth!!

They look reddish to me...but now I just heard that it means a harsh winter...just what a Minnesotan needs to hear...*shrugs*...so, how do I get rid of them? cuz I will NOT be able to sleep knowing they are there...even if they are innocent little ladybugs and not those wretched beetles.

:D

The Bugs!

Ok, what was seeing a few of these fucking bugs around has now become a swarm!!!! These things are EVERYWHERE!!!!! I can't even open my front door without them coming in. I talked to my neighbor who has a landscaping/lawnmowing service and he said that they are bad all over. Time to get the RAID!!!!!!!!!!

LG was right, those damn things DO bite. And they were flying right at me like Kamikaze pilots. I'm happy to say that the Sprecticide that I was spraying on them did seem to be working--at least til the next batch comes around. I'm not a big fan of cold weather, but I can't wait til it's here and gets rid of these things.

LOL!!!

These ones aren't flying at me...and they are generally just crawling on the walls...I did get some stuff to kill them though, because it's sort of a pain in the ass...oh, and don't forget to spray around windows and doors...they will steer clear of the area that's been sprayed...or die in the process.

Good Luck!!

That's where I concentrated my efforts (the door). I just came in and there are fewer of them, but they're still there! These were mostly crawling. But when I sprayed them, they'd take flight. I think I was mearly in the way and not an intended target. At least I hope so. I'd hate to give the critters too much credit for realizing that I was the cause of their discomfort!! lol
