In another discussion on the Forum, the use and placement of tags were discussed as a way to provide readers with more information about the stories they might (or might not) want to read.
That set me off on a different path regarding the tags themselves. As I understand them, tags allow one to filter through all the stories in order to find their special interests and/or to find stories that span more than one category. So "romance" makes sense to me, as does "spanking" or "nephew".
But then, there are some tags that make me scratch my head. I just don't get them (and yes, "gets" is a tag)
"Jennifer" (over 60 stories, though granted, some are chapters of the same story): Is this code or shorthand for some type of character or activity? Or are there people out there, who somehow feel the love (lust, whatever) more, if the character is named Jennifer? Or Paul, or Amanda, or Kevin, or Lynda?
"Moaned louder": Yep, that's something the writer wants you to know. That in their story, somebody moaned louder, though I do think I'd also like to know louder than what or whom.
And, of course, my all-time favorite tag, because if I only know this, I need nothing more: "Jennifer moaned"
What's the weirdest tag you've come across?
